could be time for a new trans dude. did you flush all lines and such, and did he iirc twist converter on 3 times until a click? are all harness plugs seated correctly, and everything is bolted correctly.

For that code to be set, trans temp must exceed 267 degrees, so yea, your trans is toast.

+1 In a performance vehicle, especially when it comes to drivetrain, if it goes out, replace it with something better.

It sucks, it's expensive, but hey, that's what performance is... it's a big money thrill.

Installed a 3200 stall and it will not start to pull until 3k? isnt that normal for a stall converter? Also I might have not read this right, but after the install you drove around the block without the lines hooked up?

no the stall worked for 10 mins tops. Its a used piece. The lines were hooked up, but without a aux tranny cooler. Just contacted some other tranny guys and they are saying i burnt the clutches up. 1 guy can rebuild the entire tranny, and cut and clean the stall for 500 bucks. So I may get him to deal with it. but this other guy still wants to change the fluids 1st. So that will be done in a few hours.

Check your trans lines, after my long tube install i noticed later the trans lines were touching the headers....this may not have been your problem but i am sure it would not help any..

I did, they were close at 1st, but i bent them closer to tranny so had a good 3 inches of space. well, at this point i just hope i could patch it till I get the full rebuild with shiftkit & vette servo. At this point I rather the truck just be down for a while, this is really wasnt the time for it to go.

pull the pan check the fluid color, it could be the converter. either way you now need to have both checked out..

i take it you can manually shift it into any gears correct?
