I paid $147 for them. Retail is $172.99

The rears were $138.95/ea

I would feel morally wrong to make someone go through the effort of figuring out which shocks I need for my truck then go buy them from somewhere cheaper. Working in a small shop has taught me that when you pull that **** don't expect to get help from that place/person ever again. LOL

Would you feel wrong if you knew someone who did the research, bought the shocks from the shop that helped them, then gave you the info so you could buy them cheaper yourself?

Honestly, it's not that hard, all you have to do is figure out your compressed height, extended height, and upper/lower mount types and you're set. You can get this info off of a stock shock or one from Napa, Pep Boys, etc.

I've been talking with HAL directly trying to get something to work for my truck. I have a stud and what is called a 'clevice' up front for mounts, which they don't seem to make. It's going to be a challenge.

Nope, that other person didn't make the shop work for them and not make anything off it. So in that instance it's all good IMO.
