Default Installing B&M trans cooler

When Installing the B&M trans cooler will it matter which side is the return line or not I can't see why it would. My truck has the factory cooler so I'm gonna cut the line's and reconnect the new cooler should be fine right?

You would want the BM cooler on the down side of the cooler in the radiator otherwise there is possibility of the cooler in the radiator heating up the fluid after the BM cooled it down.

From tranny, to the radiator cooler, to the BM cooler, back to trans.

I installed mine in place of the factory cooler (upsidedown just like factory cooler).Works perfect ,lines up with factory lines with no cutting of factory lines.

put the line going from the stock radiator cooler going into the top of the BM and then the return line form the bottom of the BM back into the trans. or else, like said above, the trans temp which may be like 170 or 180 will be heating back up to 190 or 210 by the coolant in the radiator.

Yeah Ky I will be installing the cooler down by the valance so that the inlet and outlet will be facing upward I will be cutting the factory line's and reconnecting to the cooler does it matter which side of the cooler there conected too I think you all missed understood my question basically the cooler doesnt say inlet or outlet on it so I take it it doesnt matter which side. I understand what you're saying about From tranny, to the radiator cooler, to the BM cooler, back to trans.

stallspeed I have the Radix heat exchanger in front of the radiator I want to relocate the trans cooler to the lower valance so it will get more clean air.

spooled I was hopeing I could install this so that both inlet and outlet are pointing upward that is how B&M show's it in there pic's will this be ok.

Sorry bro, I did misunderstand. If the cooler doesn't say in/out it isn't flow direction sensitive. Hook it up whatever way works best.

my B&M cooler came with instructions that specified that it did not matter the orientation of the cooler itself or which side was inlet and outlet. You have complete flexibility to install it however you like.
