Default Intercooled Radix Owners..where did

..you mount your tranny cooler. Not much room up front for a decent sized cooler with that heat exchanger already there.

If you mount it in the lower valance, like the Gibbs trucks, you gain that room back.

you might try something like this, even though both are heat exchangers for my Radix intercooler, you could easily mount a large tranny cooler in either location

Nice setups but I would probably have to make a guard or winter cover for the unit so I don't knock it off plowing through snowdrifts. My Z71 Av has a plastic shield in that location right now.

Could maybe fit a remote unit in the back of the huge plastic bumper of the AV. Maybe add some cutouts with grills. Or a regular unit if I can get enough airflow. Will have to crawl under there again and take a look.

Which units are those thunder?

I just mounted the Radix intercooler in front of the trans cooler and both work fine.

Not enough room behind the AV grill. Radix heat exchanger is already tight against the bumper at the bottom and had to tilt the top back and modify the hood release lever to clear it.

yikes!!! You know, I have always wondered about blocking the radiator like that. It has to cut down on the cooling ability of the radiator..........

anyways, I have seen tranny coolers mounted in the corner of the radiator. I cant tell if theres enough room to do that on yours.....

I think the rad, A/C condenser and Radix heat exchanger are enough in the middle already. There is also a small cooler on the driver's side for the power steering fluid. Not much room left on the other side for a decent-sized cooler and not sure that I really want to block off any more of the rad anyway.
