Theres no other stockish converter thats light.

You could see if yank or circle d can do you a light weight tight stall.

Circle D 258mm Pro III 4L80E Torque Converter Triple disck 1B is a 2500 rpm stall

Circle D 245mm Pro III 4L80E Torque Converter Triple Disk 1C is a 3000 rpm stall

I cant get on Yanks site on this computer.

Chris

Can you throw out some numbers so we can compare the weight difference of the stock 80E TC and some of you Stalls?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but is the stall actually THE converter? What I mean is, can you put a stall on a 80e without removing the stock converter? Or is the replacement of the converter actually what gives it the stall?

A heavy converter is not good for gas milage. You want a tight light converter for that.

He emailed me back and they have a converter that is half the weight of a stock 80e converter, so 40 pounds. He can only stall it down to 2500 it seems though. Im trying to figure out what the stock 80e "stalls" at from the factory.
