Default Jegs gear kits?

Getting ready to order some 3:73's for the truck. Anyone have any luck with these? JEGS Performance Products 60031K JEGS GM Ring & Pinion Sets and Kits

I dont trust the price. If it comes with good bearings and ring and pinion its not a bad deal at all. Seems to be a complete kit at least. are you going to upgrade the carrier to a posi or locker at least?

used lots of Jegs parts and never had a problem. not sure who makes gears for them. they are made by Richmond, Strange, etc and just stamped w/Jegs name and sold a few dollars cheaper.

I think the gears are made by Motive. Keeping the factory G80 locker.

why do a gear swap and keep the g80? it just seems like your setting yourself up to do another gear swap later if it lets loose...

It's a daily driver with bolt ons. I'm not too worried about it, plus it's under warranty.

g80 will blow up under stock power levels when abused.

What about the bearings in the kit? Timken? Differential is not something i want to cheap out on bearings with due to the time it takes to set properly.
