Still researching the FLT Tranny, i just don't know if i can afford that tranny w/ shipping and w/ core charge. Is there any shops closer to CA or in CA that build good tranny's?

Well, i got a local shop that is known to be very good around my part of town, and they are going to build it very similar to specs as the FLT 60E, sonnax servos, i already have the transgo, and all the other internals. I don't have to do any work they are gonna drop it, build it, and put it back in w/ 1 year warranty for $2700. This guy recommends a billet torque converter, but he says it's like $1,800 which i think is just ridiculous. Anyone know of a badass verter that will go well with my application? What stall? I was thinking around 2600-2800 stall.
