I have the new shaft on my truck with the OBX LT headers and it fits fine. The new one doesn't look much different than the old one to me. It is the same size. I got my new shaft about a month ago.

The dealership here is replacing all of them under warranty. Why are you all paying for them? Thats not right.

I got no pics friend.....but it will clear the headers....I got Long Tubes on mine...and they don't bother my steering shaft.

I bet if you check on that....you'll find that they are NOT replacing them ALL under warranty. I can see if they are replacing them under a parts warranty. But if you go in with a 2001 truck and demand a steering shaft replacement under warranty, they'd laugh you out of the dealership.

Yeah it's the same design just about it......except this time they use a dry-slide lube instead of grease. I guess that way the greas won't melt and run out.
