This is my second set. The first set went on when I had 500 miles on the truck, and I had 30,700 miles on the odometer last week when I took the truck into Discount Tire for new ones. So I eked out about 30,000 miles from the first set. I think I pushed it a little and probably could have replaced them at 27-28K. I was driving pretty carefully the last few weeks. Still not bald, but not lots of tread left. When I got the new ones I realized I had forgotten how good these tires are new.

I need to take you for a ride in the truck once I get the vibration worked out. You'll see what I mean about traction and stressing drivetrain parts. There is serious power being put out, but lots of traction, too, so all that torque and stress must be being absorbed by something. What I keep thinking is tranny and rear end. I can see now why Parish is somewhat relieved when his tires turn over.

These tires rock. And they are on sale right now. I went to Tire Rack and they were $141 each for 305/50-20's. Discount Tire beat that price, which is fantastic, because Discount Tire's service is second to none. I paid a little more for balance matching to get them perfect, and as a result I am a very happy man right now.

Nope, but camels do need toes! I've never actually seen one on a camel though.

Yeah, my YokoHama AVS S/T's are the same way. Now in a light rain, where the water is mixing with all the oils in the road, I can't get traction, but I a nice rain or even very heavy rain, these Yoko's grip like hell. I know they are different tread patterns but I am very pleased about my yokos.

My Yokos were great when I first put them on. The more miles I got they seemed to go away. They still drive great in wet conditions as far as no hydroplaning and what not but, straight line traction is nearly non existant.
