Question launching under boost in 4wd , what drive shafts are you guys using ?

so im worrying about a couple things and wondering what you 4wd / awd guys are doing for drive shafts and front and rear diffs. are you guys still on stock parts or what have you broke and/or replaced these items and if so with what? sorry been shopping for tires but i have a feeling leaving under boost with stickies something is going to give.

Both front and rear shafts are special made by DSS in Texas, never had a problem with either. Front diff and tcase are stock, rear is a 14b (never put power through the 10b). Basically if you keep the CVs flat or close to flat youll spin the tires before you break anything. Ive put 1000+ftlbs through slicks on a 200k mile factory CV and oriellys replacement CV without issue. Don't shift the tcase under power either.

Not if you keep the shafts level and don't try to do big burnouts on pavement in 4wd

I always get a little nervous myself...

Others, like Richard, have done it with more power. But it still just seems like a lot of stress.

The stock input shaft on the 80e gave up on the 2-3 shift after 4-5 runs on the slicks having survived hundreds of runs on the radials just fine. CVs are good though!
