of blown 4l60E's. my tranny started slipping bad going into second today. guess it's time to find a new one. Of course i had to hear a 30 minute bitch session from my wife. I tried to make her feel better by saying some people blow theirs up at 50K and i even cited one being blown at 10K. but that didn't make her feel any better. she just rolled over my words like a freight train.

Cool

Sorry to hear about the tranny. Women have no sense of HaHa when it comes to us blowing money on our toys, I mean trucks.

You sleeping on the couch?

Good luck getting it fixed better.

she works at night, so i don't have to sleep on the couch. lol. however, i think i will walk lightly here in the next few days.

Question. Has anyone ever ordered a rebuild kit and taken that to the Tranny man. If so, what kit is the better one to get.

I know BenKey did the rebuild kit + local guy option. You might want to PM him over on SSS.com for quicker response. Also, give Zippy or Hellbents10 a shout.

sorry to hear it. think it will happen to most with the 4LSuckyE.

I am studying up for when my occurs. Toying with the idea of rebuilding it myself with all the hop up parts. Can't be that hard? Probably lots of speciality tools.

Tell her I blew mine in under 3000 miles, maybe that will make her happy.
