Default Lets play "Name that Sensor!!"

This is located on the tailshaft of my 4L65E. I was told it was a speed sensor or something like that. I want to verify it's name and try to replace it tomorrow and see if it part of my tranny problem. See thread named "This is getting ridiculious" for background. Ready....GO!

Hmmm, a comedian I was going to say flux capacitor or time circuits. So about how much should one of these cost me at Autozone?

is your truck trhowing a code? i got gm service manual if you want me to look it up and no i'm not reading that previous thread to big to late lol 2am in a nutshell whats wrong with the truck?

New SES light yesterday as OD went out I have not had it read yet. Going to the tranny shop in an hour.....stay tuned.

I bought one for my truck its like 42 bucks at the dealer if I remember correctly and they dont sell it autozone atleast not the one near me.
