i haven't started removing ANYTHING other than the factory wheels for 15x8 wheels from the back of the cab forward

i'm pulling AC, airbags, lighter brakes, a-arms, little plazma time...ect... i'll have it with a better ratio soon... i just wanted to get a "ruff estimate where i am at at this point right now!

You added a turbo kit, ladder bars, and a 9" and your truck weighs 3385 including the additional 200 lbs to compensate? That would mean that your truck is lighter than a f-body from the early 2000's by about 100 pounds or so and about 500 lbs lighter than my car. I think you missed a thousand pounds somewhere.....lol

scales don't lie homie...

think about the weight you save by going to a ladder bar setup... then take a step side bed and remove EVERYTHING thats not needed.. then taking rear bumper off and adding a roll pan to a truck that already is only a 2000 rcsb POWER NOTHING other than steering

here is some pics to help understand the weight lost by going to ladder bar

The post that had the photos of the scales said "I have not started removing anything, not even the sway bar." I know its a wt setup, with a lighter rear suspension, but the 9" is heavier. If the bed and all is gutted then yeah, its light. I just thought when you said you haven't removed anything, thats what you meant other than the suspension and what was stated fuel cell etc..

I also hear you can probably fab up a throttle body yourself, might shave a pound or two!

that is crazy light, that bed has to be close to or over 100 lb. difference from a fleet side, i went and got my registration tag the other day, i noticed the paper said 4100 empty weight. now my truck weighs 3802 empty so with the 4 link, fuel cell, race eats AC delete i only lost an estimated number of300 lbs

is that empty weight acurate? sure seems like i took more than that off lol, hell its 4016 with me in it last i weighed it
