Default Lifted trucks and spare tires...

I'm putting 35" mud tires on my car with a 6" lift (Yukon)...should I dump the spare tire or would I still be able to use it if I got a flat?

You can still you use it it is just going to make for a fun driving experience. No high speeds and if you have a flat on the fronmt you will need to take a 35 off the back and put the flat on the back otherwise it is going to almost be unsteerable.

you can still keep it a lot of people do but I never have on a lifted truck IMO it cant be good for your diff spinnin at that much differnt of a speed. Also most 35's are pretty tough and you dont get a flat to offten. Oh and 1 more thing your facoty jack probably wont lift up your truck anymore

If you have a locker, it will tear it up. If anything, put the spare on the front and limp to a tire place. Or, keep the spare at home and have some friends numbers in your cell phone.

I said put it on the back cause its a 2wd so he probably doesnt have a locker. My buddy put his jack under the spring perch on his truck to lift it up when he had 35s on his silvy not very safe but it worked. Point blank if you get a flat on a 35 its going to be difficult either way.

2k ecsb silvy, my 35 fits under bed in stock location, i carry a plug kit and a shitty little air pump in bed box, or i use the stock jack and a 6 by 6 wood block when unpluggable and unable to get home with it.
