x2... not much travel and it starts to bow the spring a little when you start cramming all the lift parts

I just mainly need a little more ground clearance than stock and want a new look for her since its been lowered since a week after I bought it LOL.

spindles, spacers up front

blocks/U bolts (and stock hangers LOL) in the rear...

I've got stock length 2WD shocks all the way around right now. do I need to go to some longer shocks??

ya the daystar is just the front coil spacer... its the polyurethane ones, don't make as much noise as the aluminum ones.

for the back you could probably even pick up a set of 4wd lift blocks/ubolts then just use 4wd shocks... but that depends on how much you do up front as that will only get you 2" out back, which looks good with 4" up front.

I will do some digging around and get you some pics of some spindled trucks

If I leave the drop hangers and add some 4" blocks out back that should be about right I guess. I'd rather not fight those things anymore haha Easier just to go with a littl emore block to make the difference up.

As far as the front goes, the spindle + spacer should be about what I'm looking for I guess...

any recommendations on tires? not much to choose from in a 33x12.50x17 according to Tirerack. I want something thats much more hwy oriented than off road, I dont even know if I'd go so far as to say an all terrain. NO tire noise etc... the lady will be driving this thing primarily and I want it to be as comfortable as possible ride, road noise etc...

oh quit being so damn lazy and get them hangers out, you could have them sold on here in a day and have your lift blocks paid for

front = spindle, spacer & shocks most likely

check out 305/65/17s as well as 295/70/17

I left my drop hangers on the 1" drop setting and used a 4" block out back. And from my understanding your front shocks are ok but you need longer for the back. Thats why I bought Z71 rear shocks.

Well after talking to her Ill probably just throw some stock Z71 blocks in the back with stock hangers and do a 2" spacer in the front with stock coils. I wanted to "lift" the damn thing but she's 5'2" and tiny and doesn't want to be crawling in/out of something with the bottom of the door waist high I don't really blame her. Ill probably look at 265/70's or one size bogger. It'll basically sit like a stock Z71. Fine with me I guess...
