light vs. heavy flywheel in a manual trans truck ?

Default light vs. heavy flywheel in a manual trans truck ?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each , especially in a heavy truck ?

a light flywheel will rev up faster, but will also lose rpm's between shifts. A heavier flywheel is just the opposite, the added weight helps it keep momentum and hold rpm's better during shifts.

IMO, if i had to choose i would go with a lighter flywheel.

Yaw , I kinda figured that. The reason I asked is because I have a t56 trans. and a really heavy clutch and flywheel out of a 06 SSR . The flywheel is a duel mass flywheel and is really heavy. Just trying to figure out if it is better to use the heavy setup or go with a lighter one. I know I would go with lighter in a lighter vehicle.
