Default Lil shift kit BIG SMILE!!

Im really stoked over just a simple mod as the Shift kit i just Put in.

Man did this wake the truck up! I love doing mods you can " FEEL" .

Shifts nice and crisp, no head banging abut helps get the power down!

I bought a new kit out called " RATIO TEK" Its made by Steve Younger, developer of the TransGo kit.

This kit is badass! Best shift kit ive had yet, This is the second one ive installed and am very pleased with it.

Also installed a Vette servo/stiffer addition servo springs.

Just wanted to share my experience.

Cant wait to get my trans built, but gonna have to limp along till i can,

No " bump", Just a nice Firm shift That Feels Like it has holding power.

I got a good deal on it from my friend Mike L. at Inglewood transmissions in Fulerton CA, He is know for his allison skills. He worked with steve younger to develop this kit, As Steve and his Father ( TransGo) had a falling out. He is the brains of the outfit.

Im not sure man, never had a transgo kit,

The Ratio Tek has a seperate accumulator plate so shift firmness can be changed without dropping the valvebody, a nice feature if you want to fine tune your shift, by starting with the smallest drill bit , and then increasing hole size to increase shift firmness.

Also has stiffer springs for the servo apply, a clip to prevent TCC codes/shutter. You get a nice firm feel when the converter locks.

other stuff im missing , instructions are out in the garage LOL

Sorry, im no trans guru, just know enough to be dangerous.
