Default Limiter straps

I've been toying with the idea of limiter straps on the front-end to try and keep the weight transfer to a minimum and help get a bit more traction. (looking for that 1.5ish 60 foot) Any thoughts? Experiences? Ideas?
BTW I'm also going to throw on some spring clamps for the hell of it...

wouldn't you want the front end to lift for better weight transfer? BTW, i put spring clamps on my truck this weekend and they completely cured my wheel hop.

You would want the front to lift as much as possible to transfer weight to the rear wheels. Especially on a truck.

He is 4 wheel drive, so what ever energy that goes into lifting the front end is not going towards forward momentum

yep, and the more weight that comes off the front, the more likely it is that it could start a four-wheel burnout.. I know Parish had them, maybe he will chime in.

I think the easiest way would be to put a piece of wire rope with made ends on the bolts that hold the shock. You could get 1/4" or 5/16" wire rope, not really bulky. I would have a local wire rope company make me something.

I thought he was 2wd as well, but now that i know he's 4wd then yeah limiting straps would help for sure, or you could stiffen up the rear suspension.

That is what I was thinking, I'm alittle worried aboout the top shock stud bending and I don't want to drill holes.

GM, that is a good idea too, I'll have to look into that....
