I have an SRW C3500 and it has the G80 locker. It works fine for daily driving, but I am seeing some increased tire wear due to it sometimes locking in corners (but I also pull car trailers on occasion). It's not terrible, but it can be a concern. Other than that, I'd say go for it, mine works great.

stock is whats going to get you stranded... aftermarket is better in these rearends... and pretty much all others.

I had a Powertrax no-slip for awhile. I bought it because it was the easiest way to power both wheels. It was very easy to install. I tired of it quickly though. It directs power to the wheel on the inside of a turn. It was too easy to spin the inside wheel.
Just save your money and buy a Truetrac.

200 sounds good if its anything thats not a g80. I have the powertrax. It works very well but kills rear tires, makes the inside wheel skip with any minor throttle input. I'm currently saving for a Truetrac. Stock 99 5.3 ECSB.

So when you say locker, what do you mean? Are you talking about a limited slip differential with clutches, or are you talking about a geared type locker that locks both axles together when engaged? I would not recommend a true locking differential for the street. You need a limited slip differential.
