locking 80e multi disc converter wot?
I have a circle d stage 3 258mm multi disc conveter with my 80e in my truck. Been doing some tuning trying to lock the converter wot in 3rd gear. I am manually locking it in 3rd and engaging the tcc with hptuners and from a 60 roll at wot it feels like it is slipping once the boost hits about 10psi. Pulls pretty good, but the rpm goes up faster than it should compared to the rate the speed goes up. Anyone else locking their converter? How does it react?

in the turbo vehicles that I have been in, when the converter locks it pulls like craaazy. So I'm guessing yours didnt lock.

I think turbo stuff does it because it loads the turbo hard when it locks the converter. One I've been in a few times is a SS truck that trapped 127+ and the point that it pulled the hardest was from 100 and up because of the converter locking. It felt gained 200hp when the converter locked.

I have no idea. Never even ridden in anything with a Procharger.

This issue is definitely something worth investigating with more and more people going the multi-disc lockup route. Maybe Chris at CDS will have some input.
