Default Lots of fluid in the adapter housing 4x4 4L80E

I just removed my transfer case off the back of my 4L80E and I noticed a lot of fluid pouring out of the adapter housing. I've removed it before and this didn't happen, it was pretty dry in there. Is there a seal that went out? I have a jack under the adapter housing and when the transmission is jacked up level it stops leaking???

Nope the trans seals against the transfer case. Once you pull the t-case you break the seal and fluid will come out.

Cool, just thought I'd check. I might have had the drivetrain at a higher angle when I disconnected them before and that's what the difference was.
