Lower 4X4?

Lower 4X4?
What is the best way to lower my truck? I'm thinkin a 2/3 or 2/4 drop. Spindles in the front-but what about the rear? Will my truck handle as good, or better? Wheel clearance with the 265/70/17's?
Antone else lower their 4x4?
Pics and details on drop appreciated.

I'd start by removing the blocks in the rear and adjusting the t-bars, then see where you're at.

Do a search for budhayes3's truck. He just did a 2/4 on his Z71 this spring. He used BellTech keys for the front and shackles and removed the lift blocks in the back. It has a really nice stance.

I lowered my 4 X 4. The front was lowered 2 inches with belltech keys, and the rear was lowered 5 inches, by removing the lift blocks, and installing Belltech 3 inch shackles. I'm going to raise the back up 1 inch, by changing from a 3 to 2 inch shackle. The rear is to low,and i hit the bumpstops, on small bumps in the road.
The truck handles better, it feels firmer on acceleration and stopping.
I am happy with lowering the truck, and love the way it looks. Now I'm saving money for wheels.

I ended up with about a 2/4 to 3/4 drop all in all (not sure how much the front came down...somewhere between 2.5 to 2.75"...I had 33" AT's before, and the 285/50-20 Toyo's are 31")
(more pics on my cardomain site, link's in my sig)
