Default lower and load springs

I'm looking in to buying belltech 2"drop spindle and 2"shackles but want a little more in the rear. I have cal-tracs all ready I have read you have to modify the 2" drop hanger to keep my cal-tracs. So i was thinking for removing my load spring to get a litte more. What would be the pros and cons of the load spring. I would like to see pics of the hanger modify if someone has any.

get the hotchkis leafs.. thats the set up i have... hotchkis 4 " leafs... 2" shackles and caltracs.... only thing is that you have to put the aluminum bushings on a lathe to fit in the hotchkis leafs..

i love this setup

I'm gonna do the same (remove the overload) once I get my longbars. No con other than loosing payload capacity.

Removing the overload will get you close to one more inch of drop, and the disadvantage to doing it, is axel wrap. but you have caltracs already so it wont be an issue.
from what i hear it will ride smoother and your getting rid of a decent amount of weight

I still think it would be a better route to use the spindles and decrank just a inch or so and remove the overload spring and use shackles for about a 3/3
