Thanks, Tig- I couldn't be happier. that bolt, for the torsion bar key, I guess was rusting thru the years and when I disturbed things enough it gave way. I got another one for the other side, too. Most noticeable difference is that ya don't hafta vault your cheek over the ridge of the seat getting into the truck.................

Hahahahaha, that's awesome.
That's what I'm looking forward to. Almost falling into the seat instead of lifting your cheek to make it over the ridge, hahaha.

Thats frkn nice, i love a nice lowered truck with some rake.
Falling into the seat is a weird felling to get used to, but it helps prevent people slipping out of your seats, and ultimately teaaring them up.

Thanks kaze, thanks again everyone. Got it aligned to day, feels good- I love the new altitude, but- when I turn lock; left or right, more left than right the truck starts to push/ wash I don't know the word I'm looking for. I wonder if I ground too much of the nub off the LCA and I'm steering too far, is that possible. Here's my alignment now.................

Yeah- I sure am too- better here in front of the garage than 2 states away at 90 miles an hour............

And given, ive always been told, you lose some turning radius when lowering these trucks, specially a 4WD

Just got my lazy **** for a look around down there and I'm sitting on the bump stops up front. gonna trim'em and adjust the front settling.............

I did it- I'm suspended by the springs rather than the bump stops, rides better as vibrations are not transferred to the cab. But I do have bump steer- did some digging around and found that some folks have employed steering stabilizers and also found and idler arm bracket that I still don't understand how that works. Experiences/ solutions? I'm all ears......... TIA

Hey guys- stating to conclude that flipping the tie rod on the spindle via a tapered insert is the solution to bump steer and the tire scrubbing toward full lock as it would address the new angle that the tie rod sits. Thing is, I look pretty parallel but more importantly; would I be able to go back if this wouldn't pan out. Any experiences much appreciated........ TIA
