Lightbulb lowered guys......

it seems my theorie that the tierod angle after lowering the truck causes alot of shaking over rough roads was correct. i looked at how i could drop the tie rod to correct this problem but thought there was no easy fix because of the way the spindle was drilled. well it looks like djm came to the same conclusion and will be producing a fix for the problem.

it is kind of flattering to me because i am no suspension expert and i came to the conclusion of the problem and my hypothises turned out to be correct. now i need to try there kit and report back. i dont know if it is out yet though. i will be calling them and talking about the integrity of the kit before i buy it though.

i'm pretty sure stylin sells it. DJM's drop spindles have the tie rod relocation built in...... as well.

spend your money more wisely if you have yet to drop your truck and get the mcgaughy spindles for the 17" or larger wheels and a 2" spring to make a 4" drop on the nbs trucks...no binding of the tie rod end with this route.

DJM has been selling the tie rod relocation kit for almost a year now...for around $119.00 or 99 per kit.

The "feeling" your are describing is bumpsteer.
