Default lowering

Hello everyone I have a question I have a 04Silverado crew cab did a 2/4 drop running 22×9 wheels the offset is +12 tire are 305-40-22 thats what I was told to put on but I'm rubbing on the outside fender what's the correct tire size i can run or do I need new wheels .....Thanks for the help

285/45/22 should fit good. Thats the stock size on a denali or escalde with 22's.
