Default Lowering advice

Hey guys. I'm just in the process of lowering my truck. I was planning on 3" spindles springs and shocks up front. And just flipping my axle in the back. But I'm not too sure about my hanger bearing. Is there a specific angle it needs to be on or a specific height of a block I have to make to put on the cross member? Its a full size 98 Sierra ext cab.

you will probably need a carrier bearing relocation bracket with a 6" rear drop, the bracket will move the carrier bearing mount right where it will need to be.

To know for sure, you should measure your pinion angle. With a 6" drop in the rear you best be ready to adjust your pinion angle anyways.

I was thinking of just making one at work cause it looks like ita just a hollow square tube. Does anyone have measurements on it? I read up that it's 2 1/4" tall and about 1" wide. Anyone have any definite measurements?
