I just received an e-mail back from DJM suspension. They stated that their LCA's would fit my truck no problem. I am leaning towards the LCA setup with new shocks and rear hangers. I will let everyone know if/when the swap takes place. Thanks again for everyone's help.

Yes, the DJMs come with ball joints, but they are off brand. There are moog replacements made for them and DJM can supply you with part numbers. I had the uppers and lowers on my 1500HD (t-bars as well) and the best thing I did to improve the ride was trash DJMs bump stops (hard short poly bump stops) and replace them with some belltech foam bumpstops that allowed the control arm to rest on it just like the factory setup. This is an intrical part of a t-bar suspension to add progressive dampening to the "spring".

The truck rode better with a 6" drop up front with the control arms than it did with a 3" t-bar key drop.

Do the LCA's require a certain size wheel, or will a 16" fit?

I sent an e-mail to DJM's tech line and they stated to me that their LCA's will work with stock 16" wheels.

The arms do the same thing keys do so yes 16" wheels will fit, all it does is re-index the torsion bar. The benefit to the arms compared just keys is the fact DJM uses a more common lower shock mount and it comes with a shock designed for the drop. Plus you should be able to cross reference others easier. Plus alignment is benefitted, they also offer a UCA to dial it in perfect if need be.

Even cheaper! It says 2000-2006 though. They'd work for a 99 or an 07 classic though right?
