lowering shackle question

just do a 2/4 its a nice decent drop not to low and not to high

the way shackles work is 1"=.25
so a +2"shackle is only worth .5 for height

i know this is pretty hard for some to understand but its fact, youre only moving one of two mounting points on the leafs

Want to explain how you get those numbers?

Using that theory, 1" at the end should equal .5" at the axle, since it's halfway between where the height change is occurring, and the fulcrum.

but youre forgeting the datum line is not level, its at an angle
how many poeple buy 2" shackles and dont get 2"?
