Back in the day I got my 2wd ubolts for like 50 bucks from the dealer. Or you can go to a junkyard and get them for cheap if you pull them.
Id rather not go with spindles due to getting stuck with larger wheels, or I could just use it as an excuse to buy a newer crew cab that has the factory 17s, just havent been able to find one with really high miles that I can pick up for cheap.
Shouldnt be too much longer before Ive got the ole POS back on the road

I love reading your posts Cody! You never know what you have planned next! You are one crazy sum bitch! By the way, I am doing the same to my truck. Spindles in the front. Remove lift blocks and install shackles in the rear. Only problem is I started the project a year ago and can't seem to finish it. Good luck with it Cody!

My lowered Z71, removed lift blocks, 2" shackles, Belltech lowering keys, 285/50-20's in summer, 275/70-16's in winter (31" to 31.1" tall). Eventually I'd like to get hangers and either drop spindles or LCA's. I'd make the Gibbs 20's my winter wheels, and get something light weight for summer, like Centerlines or something. Then I could slap some SSBC big brakes on there also. That plan is a long way down the line though, as I'm currently broke and can't even afford to pay off FLT for my trans It'll come along though
It used to look like this...(I think it looked pretty cool then too actually )
