Default LQ4 to 4l60E???

Changing engines from 4.8 to LQ4 will my 4L60e bolt up to my new engine"LQ4"? Been looking for a reason to upgrade my motor and found water in the oil and now i have a reason to swap. Thanks for the help in advance..

It will last just fine provided you aren't mashing it every chance you get.

Default Bang

Ive talked to flt and i deceided to go with the lvl 3 60 e and a 3000 stall, till i get my turbo and all the other goodies bolted on. Im going to be running a 100 shot right off the bat with a nelson tune and going to learn the hp tuners so i can tune myself but i wanna get into the mid to low 12's N/A before i go F/I. Oredering a Detroit locker for the rear, keeping stock gears for now, small cam going in also havent deceided on whick one yet. Thanks for the help all, any suggestions would be welcome to help me reach my goal. Im putting on the dyno soon for base line numbers before LQ4 is installed and after its installed dyno again after the tune and bolt on's.

you will probably need to switch flex plates from the 4.8 to the 6.0

He'll just need to remove the crank spacer from the 6.0L (unless it already has been removed) and use the dished 4.8L/5.3L flexplate
