Default Magna 5.3 lifted, 3.73 or 4.56s

Hello - I have an 04 silverado 4x4 ext. cab short bed with the magnuson supercharger. The truck has a nine inch lift with 35s, for now, and I cant decide what gear ratio to run. I have a full set of Unitrax 4.56 gears or the factory 3.73s. Which would be better? Also anybody know what it takes to convert a 4WD to an AWD? Thanks

I would definantly go with 4.56's. If you do alot of highway driving, get some 4.30 gears. That would be a good compromise.

you definately want the 4.56s... maybe even 4.88 depending on how big of a tire your going to run when those 35's go out...

Between those choices i'd get the 4.56 if you're running 35" tires. But with a 9 inch lift you could fit bigger tires ~37's, then i'd get 4.88 or shorter

Default gears

I was thinking of running 37" tires - in which I'd run 4.56s for sure. But even with my 35s and 3.73 taking off from a dead stop the truck will do a danm good burn out. So I'm afraid that with 4.56s and 35s the truck wont hook up.
