figure out what wire coming out of the pcm is for the tcc lock up solenoid if you want to put a toggle switch on it but i would have it corrected in the tune

I did this exact mod to my 200R4 on my MonteSS, I just put a toggle switch in line with the brake signal to the PCM which will turn off lock up, and the wire was easy to access. If you can get your hands on a schematic you can probably use a similar wire, or wire in a toggle to one of the lockup solenoid wires going into the trans, as mentioned above.

Hmmmm all good advice. Having the tune adjusted is for later maybe. For now a toggle is what i may do. Just wish someone had already done this and could take the research out of it. haha

If the pcm commands lockup, but it doesn't happen(due to your toggle switch), get ready for a check engine light and probably some sort of 'default' with the transmission commands.

Thats a good thought. I was worried about that a bit. Decided to leave it be and just use the towhaul when i need to delay it a bit.

The signal wire is pin #42 on the pcm to the tcc solenoid, white/grey wire if i remember right. Grounding that will lock the converter manually
