Default Manual tranny to line up with bigger engine?

Will my 4.3 5-speed tranny line up with a 99-06 5.3? I know the automatics will, but I've had split decisions on the manual. Thanks in advance.

Im thinking it should, if the trannies are the same as in the 4.3 manuals and the 4.8 manuals, it would work.

Im not 100% if they are but I belive they share the same manual trannies in the v6's and the 4.8's

Save yourself the time, aggrevation, and money and put a good automatic or well built manual tranny in it. The 6cy/4.8 5-speeds are REALLY easy to break, especially if you enjoy "spiritted" driving.
