this might sound crazy but..
I started a thread last wk about my built 4l60e issue and ive noticed that.. and i dont know if this is possible or just a coincidence but everytime I turn my AC on while I'm cruising down the highway with the converter locked in overdrive the truck starts to shake and jerk and then the converter unlocks.. I know this just don't seem possible but it's every time I turn the AC on it never fails to unlock. Is this just a coincidence or has someone else experienced this before? Built 4l60e Yank tt-3000 full bolt on 99-5.3 ecsb

It wouldn't have to misfire very much to unlock the 'verter. You'd need to moniter current misfire pids while test driving to see if it is happening.
What I'm saying is, just because you don't have any misfire DTC's, does not mean that you don't have misfires occurring. HTH.

But i can say that last week when the weather was coldin even with not running the ac is was still kicking out of lock up. It just seems to do it way worse with the ac running. It works fine for a few days then a wk later it wont stay locked up.. i dont understand this thing. Lol

I just read this again, and noticed you have an aftermarket 'verter and you're setting a P0751.
Your tune needs tweaked for the converter. Certain DTC's need to be disabled. Read through this thread for some help, or contact your tuner. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...s-more-441022/
