I'm not too worried about weight with this truck. Here's my gas door. Great minds think a like.


Center near the tailgate, by the way if you use a s10 gas door it will fit between the ribs and you'll only have to cut out one where as a fullsize one you would need to cut out 1/2" of the two ribs beside the door.

now thats detail, even a finger hole! I can't use a gas door on mine I went with a Jaz fast fill and it sticks up into the bed. Figure I'd trim it out with some stainless or aluminum.

Think I'm going to smoothe it up and shoot it. I'd like to paint the whole truck with the HOK limetime pearl thats on the upper half but that **** is expensive and I've dropped a lot on the back-half. Will see how it goes.
