I have been think of going to a 4/6 or just a 3/5. I need the truck just a little bit lower from my 2/4

I just called McGaughy's...the guy I spoke with said that there is no advantage to running the spindle for the 17"-and-bigger wheels vs. the one that you can still use the stockers for. Their price was $299 for spindles, $109 for coils for a 4" drop up front. Hmmmm.

2/4 guys--DO IT!!! 4/6 DROPS WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD! MUHAHAHAHA!

I have the McGaughy's spindles for 17" or larger wheels. They were a breeze to install, but you do have to grind the bottom of the lower ball joint off. They should really say that you need to use 18" or larger wheels, or at least dont use the escalade wheels

Believe me, I want to. The only thing really holding me back is c-notching the frame. I just don't know if I want to do that or not. That's not something you can just "bolt back on".

When I put my 4/6 on I didn't want to cut the frame either. Since the truck was only about 1-2 months old. But, once I drove home from my buddy's (after putting the kit on), I called another friend (who builds street rods) to notch the frame the next day. Just do it, you'll like it for sure! I pretty sure I know what your truck will look like with 18's and 4/6 drop.
