more rim/tire questions

I'd go with Boyd's Timeless 6; they will make the offset what you want. I ordered my 17s three years ago with Nitto Nt-450s for $1800. I told Boyd's that I didn't want them to stick out at all. I went with 8s on the front and 9.5s on the rear. I have been impressed with Boyd's quality and build, but wish I had Creederado's setup.

ok, thats it, i have been thinking about this long enough. that rim is prety expensive but it is my favorite, can't go wrong if you go with your favorite can ya?
now for back spacing. from above it looks like 7" in the rear would be ideal but i want to get the same rim for all 4 corners so i can swap them around and keep the tread even. i dont mind if it rubs a little on the inside when i crank the wheel. should i go with 7" all around or go with less backspacing?

If you're going non-directional for tires then I would be concerned about rotating as you say. But, if you're going directional for tires, it really doesn't matter as much. Reason being, directionals only get rotated front to back, so if you do that often enough (properly), then all you end up with is 4 tires to replace at the same time. If you get different rims for front and back, then you end up replacing only two tires at a time, which can actually be better for people on a budget. Plus, you get the exact offset, width, height, etc. wheel/tire combo that you want.

I think they would all look pretty good on your truck. I know what your going through and how tough of a decision it is. DO NOT order boyds chrome plated billet, they will not last. I know from experience. I plan on going back with the same setup I had, which is almost just like creed. Goodluck.

i did look at the intro's. they look nice but are even more money and i didn't see any styles that really grabed me. they are $2400/set.

Guys-I have a 01 GMC C3 (black) that I'm wanting to get a set of tires just for the track (drag & road course). I have a set of 20" wheels and tires for the street, but I'm also looking for a set of 18" wheels, lightweight, and $200-$300 per wheel (if possible) with a black center and chrome lip for racing, thinking of using some nitto tires (12" wide/29"tall). Also some bigger/better brakes!
I'll be interested to see what you end up with. Keep us posted! Thx!
