i seen a few guys on here with stud girdles/covers. moser doesnt make one for are trucks, at least i cant find one,..where is everyone getting them at?

 

Should a girdle from just about any 10 bolt fit?

Ive seen a couple posts where a few are saying the 8.5 covers found on f-bodys will fit, but the 8.6's use metric bolts for the cover. I dont know the truth behind it tho. Anybody have feedback about this please chime in.

 

Thats exactly what i was looking for! Do you happen to have a part number? Is is a 8.5 cover or are truck specific?

 

Mine is a TA but was purchased from Thunder Racing so it has their logo etched on it. I am guessing they are all probably made at the same factory and everyone puts their name on it. You should be able to find one at any major parts vendor (Summit, Jegs, etc).

 

This is true. Any of the 8.5/8.6" 10 bolt covers will fit the housing but you may have to get some new metric bolts/studs for your truck if it comes with std hardware.

 

I wonder if i were to call moser and ask for metric hardware, if they could do that?
