My 2WD has torsion bars...?
Hey guys, I did a little looking around and couldn't find an answer to why my 2WD has torsion bars and a steering gear box front end instead of coil springs and a rack and pinion set up.
The truck is a 2004 GMC Sierra SLT 2WD.
I figured out that my truck was odd when I noticed that every lowering kit I looked at for it is made for a truck with coil springs.
Anyone know why my truck is setup this way?

Gotcha, thanks, still learning some of the truck specifics
EDIT: I just google searched VHO and a bunch of pictures of trucks came up that look just like mine (mainly the wheels is what I mean by that, rare to have 20's back then and I have always wondered about those wheels)
