Default My converter may be toast

My truck has stopped locking the converter and has thrown a code 0841 several times, so is my converter toast or could it be something else? It had a leak in the line and ran low on fluid and locked the converter once at a stop before I could fix the leak, was that enough to kill the converter? It is in a 1500hd, I still have powertrain warranty since I bought it used and am looking for opinions before I drop it off to be checked, if 4l80 converters were not so expensive I would upgrade but for now it will probably just get a stock replacement. Thanks

Usually that code has something do with the transmission pressure switch being faulty. I guess there's a way to test it but if it's under warranty, then by all means, get it back to the stealership!
