Leave it!!! I did this to my new chevy back in 95. The fact that it was 2wd was sickning. It was worthless. When you would go offroad you couldn't steer in the mud and not to mention my gas milage went through the roof.I liked the way it looked at first but grew out of it real quick. It's kinda like a ricer trying to make there civic fast and put exaust on it. Draws attention to you and makes you look stupid.

Well, I personally would not lift a 2WD truck. It will KILL any mileage and performance you may have had before, kill towing, and makes it look like something it is not. I would drop it a little and add a whipplecharger. But this is not my truck, and to each his own....

Everytime I see a lifted truck that is very obviously a street driver (not some work/offroad vehicle) the words that come to mind are "******* redneck jackass". But hey, do whatever you want

My vote, leave it stock height or lower it. Your truck is high enough already and I'm tired of trying to see past huge mountainous vehicles blocking my view in every direction. You better be hauling some **** in that thing.

I say lower it too, there is something so badass about a full size truck that is lowered and with nice rims on it! It's not as if you need the height to get through the snow like we do up here!

Lift that ****! Since you say you've already got the parts, guess you are going to anyway. I would put some lower gears in it though since you've gone to bigger tires. Some 4.56s maybe...or 4.88s in a 12-bolt

I'm not doing this to go offroading or mudding. If I owned a 4x4, I'd never use the front axle anyways. Performance? BWHAHAHA! I've got a 10-second Formula for that.

What are you, a middle-aged man going through a mid-life crisis so you had to go out and buy a vette? Most likely not, but you see how the stereo-typing works. Different strokes for different folks, and if you cant see behind you, then change lanes damnit!! SO BITE ME!

Tony, I think you need to get some big bull horns and throw them on the front as a hood ornament.
