tony i think it will look good lifted, althought it still looked very good as it was. myself i couldnt lift a 2wd around here because i would want to get off the road and hit a mud hole, and also wouldnt want the hell every damn person in town would give me for lifting a 2wd. around here its tons of lifted trucks, sadly a bunch are just 3in body and 33s....

my next truck will be lifted, alot, maybe 8-9inches...

jmx, is your vette lowered, or stock? didnt think so. to many people they would rather have a lifted truck than a fast vette. they might think that pouring money into a small 2 seater car just to be faster isnt worth it and is flat out stupid. myself i think making something fast is good, hence the reason im on this site. i love a lifted truck and will probably own one, one day.

learn something new everyday i guess.... nineball part redneck.... didnt think yall big city folks could be redneck.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

jmx, i have always loved corvettes and plan on buying one, one day; i also like lifted and lowered trucks. i just dont like it how people stereotype others on what they drive, if you are driving a corvette a majority of other vehicles will sit higher than your car, even an un-altered vehicle. if you are that **** about it, then dont drive your car. you live in texas, where most of the population drives trucks/suv's....
hell maybe one day one of those "lifted redneck jackass, yuppies" will help you, you never know. just becase you cant see in back of you, now you hate everyone's vehicle that is taller than yours? i dont have the attitude when i see a corvette i'm like, "look at that rich, snobby, old bastard driving that sports car"

Hmmm... my Formula is considered a low riding vehicle, and I daily-drove that car for over 3 years and never complained about anyone driving bigger vehicles around me. I just leave myself more space and drive around them when possible. Growing up in Texas, I'm just used to seeing big *** SUVs and trucks, so they don't bother me.

To be honest, I was thinking of buying an H2 when the Formula is paid off this summer. BIG. I like it.

anyways i agree with you nineball, you worry about the other drivers and their actions, that way you dont get screwed.

and lifted truck guys/gals and lowered aswell are just like yall fbody and vette (ybody?) enthusiasts. they dont like their car/truck/suv stock, stock isnt good enough, so they lift or lower, swap gears etc. alot of these people put several thousands into their lifts etc on fullsizechevy. their are some badass rides over there, and alot of them arent inbred rednecks... From what i've heard of Cali, there are tons of lifted trucks running around on 44s.... hell thats about as tall as the roof of your car....

anyways im rambling.... maybe some FSC guys will come in and give you some advice on lift and different options out there nineball. either way good luck with your truck... oh yeah i almost forgot... i think Ewogo is selling his lift wheels and tires.... he is going with something bigger i believe......

from alan jackson... (slightly edited)

It's Alright To Be A Redneck

It's alright to be a redneck
It's alright to ride around in a dirty old truck
Catch a bunch of fish and shoot a bunch of duck
It's alright to be a redneck

Chase around the girls on Friday night
You wanna make 'em feel alright
It's alright, it's alright,
It's alright to be a redneck

It's alright to be a redneck
It's alright to work hard in the sun all day
Drink a couple beers after bailin' hay
It's good to be a redneck

Drive by Ernie's for some BBQ
Showin' off your brand new boots
It's alright, it's alright,
It's alright to be a redneck

The kid's are gonna cry
And the chicken's gonna fry you know it
The car wont run
So your cousins comin' by to tow it

It's alright to be a redneck
It's alright to have a girl named Thelma-Lou
Who dont mind a little kiss when ya got a little chew
Party on the road by the light of the moon
Dancin' to a country tune

It's alright, it's alright
It's alright to be a redneck

Go ahead and lift it man, no one else is gonna make you happy cept yourself.

Sure a lifted 2WD cant go places a 4x4 can, but you gotta be happy in the vehicle you drive in.

As far as there being too many big vehicles and giving the low guys a fit, thats really too bad.

Nothing gonna change and you gotta be prepared to deal with it whenever you decide to drive a vehicle that is low to the ground.

Ill admit, i kinda feel bad when my headlights are in someones rear view mirror, but what the hell am i gonna do, trade my truck in so they wont have a glare in their face? Sorry, but no.

Well.....Go ahead. After you lift it, let's roadtrip to Austin, grab jmx's vette and slap an 8" lift on it. Then he can be a happy Texan. Hahahahahaha. (My smilies don't work) Yee Haww. Just kidding.....jmx a lifted Vette would look rather silly. I know, one of the hillbillies down here did it to a early 80's model years back.
