Just a few pix of my tranny tore up.
From what was discovered no seals have ever been replaced, just the clutches. The pump came apart too easy. Luckaly my servos where in there. That rules out that they just went to a junk yard and put that in mine. The transmission was the blackest he had ever seen, no red tint to it at all. There was sislicone in the trans as well(not a good thing)

Just a quick update, I asked to have my case cleaned and painted and it was really nasty which adds more time to the build. Tranny should be ready Monday or Tuesday.

Hunting for parts
Quick update, previous re-builder left out the 3-4 clutch boost assembly. I am not the tranny expert but thats what I remember hearing from the current builder and something about them trying to same them down.
I have to go hunt downt he correct bearing for the planet durring lunch as well as teh old style clutch pistons without the fitted rubber part.
Check it out the bearing problem with the bearing. I am going from a 4 pinion to a 5 pinion.

What a day
Back from hunting down the parts.
Come to find out, On the previous rebuild 40K MILES ago. They rebuilt it, it burnt 3/4 2 weeks later. I took it back and what they did is sand the burnt out of the steels and warped them and put them back in and did not put in the 5 3-4 spring release parts pictured below. Each one was $5.25. Lazyness is the only reason I can think of why this was not put in.
My dad swears the place is a good shop but its hard to beleive.
More pics to come
On the Bearing for the planet, I could not find it and amd going to use the 4 pinion for now. The one that takes the beating fit perfectly with the bearing.
