Get a billet forward piston, Corvette 2nd apply servo, and billet 4th apply servo. Long Tru-Kool 40K and the Converter of your choice, and a tune!

Any reason for a stock width band?

The wide bands seem to burn on the outside edges on heavy vehicles with high tq numbers.

isnt that only if you reuse the stock used input drum. I thought with a new drum that problem is eliminated?

1. yes, the offer a larger drum to accomodate the wider band.

is it that big of a deal? if it is i dont mind buying the combo, i thought it might be overkill

update: I called PATC. the first guy was nice, but transeferred me to someone else when I started asking questions about the input drum. The second guy was an *******. he just kept mumbling "yeah" after I was naming parts. I didnt know if he was paying attention. I asked "are you taking this order or should I tal kto someone else" he took my number and said someone would call me back. no one has called back yet.


he wanted to sell me hardened drum and shaft for $430. it comes with the SONNAXX "smart shell" instead of the BEAST.




2. do I need a hardened input drum, or just a hardened input shaft, and the input drum support ring?

Im ready to spend the money and the guy couldnt get off the phone with me fast enough.

I called FLT in the hopes that maybe they did sell parts, but they referred me to ProBuilt. I called them twice and left a message.

well I called around to 7 different places including 1 in Canada before I found a billet output shaft. Apparently PATC had one but I wasnt really interested in calling them back. They have on on ebay for $600+, no thanks.

I ended up calling TCS Performance in Havasu, AZ. Ordered a 300m billet output shaft for $375
