any year from 2001-2007 6.0 that has the 4L80E behind it.
I think 1999-2000 had the funky flexplate for the longer crank that was in the LQ4 Iron head engines.

Mnie is a 2000 5.3 with aluminum heads. My flexplate is concaved where it bolts to the crank.

Anyone know where I can get the wiring with pin outs and connector for the transmission mounted vss. I called the stealership and they don't have it sepetate. The local wreckers don't have much. The one I got they have the harness still with the engine.

Got my Transfercase back from the tranny builder with the new input installed. He questioned about my flexpate as essays they should be all the same. He said to make sure I have the correct flex plate or it could damage the pump. The flex plate says its from a 03 6.0 4l80e. It has spacer. The only markings I could see is on a barcode 351. And stamped it says 368. Anyone confirm I have the correct plate? Also is there a part number and size for the longer flex plate bolts, I couldn't match anything at the papco place. Also what size converter bolts, it never came with any.

You can get the VSS plug and wires on Ebay or from a few different electrical vendors.

The 6.0/4l80E Flexplate is flat with 6 mounting holes for the convertor pattern instead of dished with 3 holes like the 5.3L/4.8L 4L60E flexplate.

Longer Flywheel bolt part numbers should be GM part number 19257940.

Verify that first as I have found they keep changing the part numbers of the bolts and the flywheel.

Factory convertor bolts should be 11589040.

I keep some of that info here https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...umbers-428941/

I googled the flex plate bolt number and it says it's got a length of 1". That's the size I have already from my stock 5.3 flex plate. My new flex plate has the spacer so I need my bolts about 1/4" longer. Or will there be enough thread with what I have? I can get a plug for the vss but the factory wires are twisted, something to do with the shielding? I wanted to keep it the same as stock. I can buy the straight wires and hopefully the connector ends at napa.
