Default My z71 says do not dyno test !

under the hood a little yellow sticker says do not dyno. ??????????????

WHY?

Maybe GM's afraid you will snap your driveshaft going 130 on a Dyno? You can dyno 4wd's just put it in 2 hi.

The sticker is only on trucks with autotrac.

It says something like - "This vechile is equiped with an automatic transfer case, do not use on a 2wd dyno."

i thought this was an awd thing not an autotrack thing.

when you put it in 2wd the front diff disengauges so it should be fine but if you are real worried about it then pull the front driveshaft and there is no way anything can happen.

I have autotrac also and no sticker..

I didn't think I did either when I read this thread this morning...when I went to lunch I checked...sure enough, a little yellow and black sticker on the rad. support right between the batt. and the dr. side headlight.

i'll have to check mine too. i think by law or something, they are probably required to put that sticker on since it has 4WD capability
