Default Need front rotors ASAP!!!

I currentlly have SSBC 14" rotors, one has developed a crack and the other has little stress cracks. I called SSBC and I asked if this is normal. Their responce was that when your dealing with a big rotor like that and heat build up its gonna happen. Now I think that is B.S., I went with bigger brakes for that reason, to have less heat build up and better braking. I am now doughting SSBC build quality. Is there another manuf. you guys suggest that has 14" rotors. Also the rotors are not that old I bought them on ebay on Sept. 09. They where used but only had around 2000 miles and you could tell the milage because of wear and other signs, so they will not warranty them.

They are not cross drilled, they are slotted. And thats another thing slotted are not suppose to crack like cross drilled. This is the 2nd time I have a rotor failure with SSBC.

I had ssbc 14" cross drilled and slotted rotors on my truck. They had stress cracks after the 1st six months. They replaced them for free with the same type. They to got stress cracks. So I went with their slotted only and have had no issue. Like you said they shouldn't crack at all.

Man, I'm real sorry to hear that about SSBC, I really like the looks of their kit and had them on my wish list until reading this
