Smile Need to go lower

I have 2" spindles and 2" shackles as well as rear spacer block removed on my truck, but it still doesn't have the LOOK I want.
considering a 1" spring for the front and a flip kit for the rear.

Question is ...how much work to install a flip kit and can I still tow with a flip kit

have you considered a hanger kit for the rear... i think flip kits lower our trucks like 3.5" or something lol thats pretty drastic

got any pics of your truck?

your options are limited, you can't do hangers because of 07 frame, and the flip kit takes the weight off of the top of the spring pad and hangs the truck from the axle, thus reducing the safety factor

Never heard of that one. Have you ever seen how a stock s10 suspension looks? It's got a flip kit from the factory.

You're towing MAY be affected a little, but not much. A flip kit is your best bet, just buy some air shocks.

Saftey Factor? What do you mean by this? Saftey factor is a part's load, torque, stress, moment etc that it can withstand before yielding over the maximum load, torque, moment ect that the part will see.

Are you saying that putting the spring under the rear end increases the stress? If so how? The only way I see that being true is if you put lowering or lifting blocks between the leaf and the axle housing.

If it's a NBS '07 then you won't even have to notch for the flipkit.

not a great pic, need something from a distance to show stance.
belltech has a flip kit, # 6521 for 5-6 drop, this may work if i put the stock shackle on.
i am concerned about towing a 5000 lb boat with that much suspension change, is this stuff robust or what.
stock i had 9.5 inch gap between rear tire and fender, now it is about 6.5 in but still lots of room,
how much work is this stuff to install

exhaust has been changed since that pic

Your towing capacity shouldn't change any from stock. The flipkit is a piece of cake to install. If you don't want to mess with it you could just trade me trucks, mine already has a flipkit.
