normally when you change the filter, the old seal stays stuck in the transmission.
that's why when ever i put a new filter on, i leave the old one in and remove the new one from the filter.

Thanks for all of the help guys. How can I keep it from spinning the tires on the 1-2 shift at 1/2 throttle? I could understand them spinning at WOT, but this thing kicks like a mule at even 1/4 throttle

What color of accumulator spring did you install in the valve body? Also what spring/spacer combo did you use in the 1st-2nd accumulator cup next to the valve body?

In the accumulater cup, I installed the seat and the spring that it called for (yellow I think), but no washers. I had my tuner lower the line pressure, but maybe it needs to come down a little more. I ordered HPTuners the other day, so I will be able to dial in to my liking when the software gets here.
Daniel...I talked to Randy. He seems like a real cool dude and answered a few of my questions. Thank you for your help

That sounds right...the vette servo is the "093" servo I believe. The line pressure in the tune should be set to stock. The 1st-2nd accumulator spring combo is adjustable...but if you don't have any spacers installed it should be tolerable. If you have the white spring installed in the valve body and no spacers in the 1st-2nd accumulator, I'd guess your line pressure in the tune is still too high...but that's just a guess.

I was told that everything after about 97 was the deep pan on the full size trucks...

The GM tech told me that the 99's to about the 04's could have either. He didn't comment on the '05s, but he said that all '06s had the deep pan. Maybe he was blowing smoke
